D.W. Oliver Tree Services Ltd was established in 1991, and although we only have a full-time staff number of three, we are well enough equipped to commit to any size job. As well as the regular team we frequently employ sub-contractors. We are one of the few tree companies in the area with our own mobile elevated work platform, a real advantage when it comes to cutting high hedges and performing tree surgery where there is unrestricted access.

As well as our normal Tree Surgery operations we are now working with a Shire Horse known as 'Mr Horse', to extract timber on difficult sites. We have completed one major project utilising this animal, for ARK, a conservation group working on the River Kennet. We are hoping to expand this side of the business working on sensitive or difficult sites and eventually delivering logs using a traditional horse drawn cart!.
